Mould and Plaster ratio chart

How much water and mould mix do I use?

How warm should the water be?

Understanding how to speed up setting time or slow it down.

This chart gives you 7 different ratios.

The greater the ratio ie 1:7 the longer it will take to set. This is fine for adults who can keep still but for younger more active children we suggest a stronger mix. ie 1:4 to 1:5.

For babies use 1:2 to 1:3 ratio. Be prepared as this can set very quickly.

There is a lot of room to move so you don't have to be exact.

The more mould mix you use the stronger and more dense the mould. It will also set faster.

Warm water will make it set faster than cold water.
